Nes parish in Hallingdal - Buskerud.
This is the
first of
5 volume made for Nes parish in
Hallingdal. The whole project will be about to end in 2011 . The author Mr. Terje
Østro is also writing on the Flå Gards- og slekts-historie. The first two volumes of 4 was released in 2004.
This is only
estimate time of any
release of volume in both Nes and Flå parish.

Both index books will contain new information that will be handle over to us and corrections of the previous books.
To get a complete view of any family in Nes parish you need to buy the whole set - the same you need for Flå parish. The two parish is very close connected to each other regarding names, farm, churches and administration. Therefor I would recommend that all the books would put you into understanding the whole story about your family from Nes in Hallingdal.

small places where people lived on in the 1700 and
1800's.
The first book have 560 pages with many
pictures from the different farms in this area. I can recommend the book very
much - it is a MUST if you want to get the info of your anchestors from Nes and
Flå parish.
